Covid-19 Update

Covid-19 Update – October 2022

Most Covid-19 related restrictions are now removed, however we are still able to carry out our work with all suitable precautions as required by our customers, this includes wearing of masks, social distancing and vaccinated workers.  Please make your request when booking your job.

Covid-19 Update – Protection Framework (Traffic Light) Settings

With the switch to the Protection Framework, we will be operating all of our services, including our showroom, at all settings.  As with the Alert Level system, we will be applying appropriate PPE as required.  All of our team are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, and will carry their vaccine passports to present if requested.  As an essential service, we do not require our customers to be fully vaccinated, our work will continue regardless, however all appropriate precautions will be applied, including social distancing, sanitising, mask wearing and recording.

The company has a strict sickness policy, for the safety of our team and all of our contacts, with mandatory testing for Covid-19 and a stand down period for any symptoms or possible contact to Covid-19.

Gavin Lowe Energy is working during all Covid-19 Alert Levels

During the current Covid-19 Pandemic, the health, safety and well-being of both our employees and our customers is Gavin Lowe Energy’s top priority.  We are following advice and requirements from a combination of sources, including government, health and industry authorities, as well as our own best practice, to provide a safe working environment by eliminating the possibility of transmission, either on our premises or yours and will use a number of measures to ensure we achieve this.  A copy of our Safety Control Plan will be provided to all clients at Alert Levels 2, 3 & 4.

Alert Level 4 Essential Services

During the Covid-19 Alert Level 4 Lock Down period, Gavin Lowe Energy will be largely closed for business, as is required.  This means our office, showroom and warehouse functions will all be closed both on site and remotely.  Normal sales consulting, installation and service work will not be undertaken.  However breakdown service and installation work may be undertaken as an essential service in circumstances where a key source of heat is required.

We take our commitment to support the Lock Down seriously and will only call on our team under these circumstances.  Team members providing this essential service will be following strict hygiene practices and will be equipped with appropriate disposable PPE.  They will also where possible be eliminating all physical interaction with others on site.

To contact us during Alert Level 4, please use the contact form on our website.  One of the team will respond during business hours within an hour to make the necessary arrangements.

Alert Level 2 All Services Available

During Alert Level 2 all of our installation and service work can be carried out with the appropriate precautions applied.  Our offices are open, as is our showroom.  All visitors to our premises will be required to wear a mask and scan or sign in as is required by the public health rules.  You can call us during normal business hours 03-3379584.
