  • No oxygen is used in the equipment’s operation
  • Produces no smoke or ashes or other carbon-producing waste material
  • Filters in the units clean the air of Irritants and pollutants
Easy to use and convenient

Easy to use and convenient

  • Heat or cool a space within minutes of turning on
  • Increase or decrease the temperature at the push of a button
  • Maintain the desired room temperature using the inbuilt thermostat
  • Use all year round for both cooling and heating

Efficient and environmentally friendly

  • 4.5kw to 5kw output for every 1kw input, that’s more efficient than any other source of heating
  • Using our mostly renewable electricity from the national grid makes this form of heating the most environmentally friendly option
  • The refrigeration technology used has been evolving and maturing since its inception over 100 years ago
  • Refrigerants that are now used are all compliant with ozone reducing protocols

How heat pumps work

A heat pump is a reverse cycle air conditioner, which means the system both heats and cools. Heat pumps work in much the same way as a refrigerator. Two coils (one inside and one outside) circulate a refrigerant that draws warmth from the outside air and transfers it into your home.

Heat pump options to suit everyone

There are many different indoor heat pump options – and we have a wide range available for you to review in our Christchurch showroom.

Other types of heat pumps

In addition to keeping your living space warm, heat pump technology has successfully been applied to other applications, such as hot water heating or swimming pool heating, taking advantage of that same unbeatable efficiency.

Recommended brands

Not all heat pumps are built equal, some are more suitable for a warmer climate, and some just don’t perform as well as others. We will only offer quality equipment solutions to suit your specific site and work closely with just a select few manufacturers which we believe qualify.
